hi have been on this forum many times and had very good advice, firstly let me say thanks for all the video tutorials that i,m sure have helped lots of people now my question i have flashed every drive thats been in the xbox360 up until i have cracked a new one open today and it is a lite-on 83850c dg 16 d2s 09c hw ver a082 i understand this is a lite on version 8 version 2. Before i try it can anyone confirm that it can be flashed, can i use iprep saw the video tut for the normal version 8 lastly merry christmas to all on robin hoods forum

The only thing you can do is try and dump the drive, look at the key and make sure that there are no repeating numbers i.e - 1117777222254444477777899 something like that. You want them to be random - 15496378201316

Make the CFW and flash it to a spare drive and see if that works. If it does then you have successfully completed the task.

I've pick up a lieon 83850c v3 09c august 2009 i manage to dump the key buy rigging the pcb board of the dvd drive now i'm stuck how to i go about flashing the drive
