Spoofing Benq as hitachi,Bad hitachi drive

Hey Guys,I've never spoofed or worked with a Hitachi before so please bear with Me.I have a friends hitachi console that the drive has gone out of.I just want to spoof a benq into that console without ix firmware.I always use iprep so i'm unfamilar with jungle and just wanted to know the best way to do this.Thanks.The Hitachi is a 46.

have you tried searching for cofree's vid tutorial on how to flash old hit drives?

do you have the hot key
you must have the hit key

then use jungle flasher to build the benq spoofed firmware
and iprep to flash it in

im going to make a set ov new videos on do restore and spoof
ill hae them up in a few days

Thanks, that would be great.No,I dont have the Hitachi key yet,I cant get JF to see the drive.Im not using a via card,just hooking it to a nforce4 motherboard.Do i need to run the slax cd first,or must I use a via card.JF states that no via ports were found.Thanks.

that is the problem
jungle still has trouble with a pci via sata card
but
iprep needs it

so in a perfect world
i do all jungle stuff on a pc that does not have a via
and
all iprep on a pc that i installed a via pci sata card in.

i would dump the hit drive with jungle
then build my benq firemware

on the iprep pc build a boot flash
then move in the spoofed firmware with the hit key
and flash with iprep
