Which FW would recommend?

Hey there. Quick question. I'm going to be flashing my Lite-On 74850c pretty soon(probe has been ordered). I'm just wondering, as it's a console i'll be keeping off LIVE full-time, what would be the best FW to use?

I've been using a Hitachi the whole time so haven't had to worry myself with this wave stuff and wave patching etc. So what i'm wondering, is there a firmware for the Lite-On where i wouldn't have to bother with any patching, given that the console won't be going anywhere near LIVE, but i also want to keep the HDD functionality and not corrupt my profile.

You want the 1.6 nostealth firmware file for the lite-on. You won't need to worry about future games with different wave status.
