Problems flashing 1.6 no stealth on a lite-on drive

I installed 1.6 no stealth on my drive last week to allow use of future wave games as well as older ones that I have. I've been banned so it's not a worry any more. Everything went fine and it is working great. I tried Avatar, whatever wave that is and it worked no probs.

I tried my mate's, going from 1.51 to 1.6,same drive, firmware etc..

However, it only boots a couple of games and crashes on some of them, most of the time it is an open tray error.
I eventually went back to 1.51 on his drive and all the games are now loading no problem.

Is 1.6 no stealth a custom firmware? If so, is it possible that some drives don't like it for whatever reason?

I have the same propblem,i reflashed a liteon 74 with non stealth 1.6 and it now dosent like to load a lot of the games that worked fine before.i think its a problem with the firmware.i will be putting LT on it soon,i hope that solves it because its been annoying me to be honest.
