Re: .inf file for win7 x64
I wouldnt even bother with Dosflash or Jungle m8. I did have 64 bit too and been waiting on this iprep for soo long I decided to sack that new LT FW and just use iprep 10.7 to flash with iextreme 1.61. I spent 5 hours trying to get JF to work on 64bit win 7 and still no joy. Its just more chew than its worth.
The way I see it is this, No matter what FW you use, wether its LT or 1.61 or any FW. They ban people in waves and certain times of the year. Its inevitable at some point you will be banned. Even if you get 6 month out of a console it only costs like £50 for a second hand one to flash again. A game is almost the same price so its always worth it.
Plus with this new LT, Whats the point in having a FW where you can only play certain games. Like all that SSV1 and SSV2 stuff etc etc. I carnt see how theyve figured out 1.61 anyway as they hit everyone with the ban pretty much right after 1.61 was released, They wont of had time to figure it out. Unless it has nowt to do with what version iextreme you have and they figured it out in general. Im not sure. But more than 2-3 month out of a console is more than a bonus.

so, i guess stay with a dual boot of xp until iprep 12 comes out, cause i love my win 7 x64. i was reading about the ban guard thread and i am not quite sure how they can give a guarantee.

Yeah I tried to do this by installing xp but of course I didnt realise I had to do it the other way round, Like install windows 7 and during the process I was told you get the option of wanting to use a dual OP, whareas if you alrwady installed it and then want to dual boot your knackered. Too late for me now anyway I flashed it with 1.61. Ive taken alot of intrest lately in that LT FW and had plans to put that on soon as I got hold of iprep v12. I finally got hold of it but just dont know how I can put it back to stock before I do put LT on. Plus Im also in two minds wether or not to just stay with 1.61. It just seems like too much of a carry on getting hold of the SSV2 files and stuff. I maybee wait a bit and see what comes of this LT coz ive read allsorts of stories on reliable websites too. Like I said if I get banned I can got a pre owned console for almost the price of a game so its no biggy.
