Liteon Headache...again
Ok. Been a while since I did any modding. Got a new setup. No via card. My new chipset has SATA connectors onboard. Thought JF would work like a charm but I guess I was wrong. question is, IS there a fix for this? I was under the impression that onboard SATA would be the best setup. Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: Liteon Headache...again
If the onboard sata ports doesnt work then it looks like you have to buy a via card buddy

I've gave up trying to get the latest jungle to work on my new pc too. It crashes continually and i've deleted the via drivers/ removed the card etc so i'll stick to iprep as usual which has always worked faultlessly.

Re: Liteon Headache...again
They work greatfor hitachi's. done 2 so far. But when I use JF with my sons Liteon, It erases it fine, then in writing it freezes halfway through the second bank. That is a good thought about the via card, however. After I do thewhole dosflash thing, I'm going to get my via card setup and do it again with this chipset and maybe JF will work the whole way like everybody elses.

Re: Liteon Headache...again
you can add via VT8237 onboard sata to that list because thats what i use and it works faultlessly for all drives..never had a freeze and ive done loads of liteons, benq, hits and sammys.....Never fails..I think a lot of people forget that having antivirus on your pc screws up things..my setup has no antivirus on it at all and XP..just use that pc for flashing only..My laptop gets used for everything else and ive been trouble free..

Re: Liteon Headache...again
I might just buy a new mobo anyway when my income tax comes. it's a 945P chipset MBTX. I put it in a dell, then found out that dell doesn't like to play nice with other components. Now almost nothing about my 'new' computer is dell. They even crossed the wires to the fans to short out the power supply those dirty arses! But yeah thanks for that list I'm gonna finally be onboard with those stubborn liteons. Thanks guys
It's a Intell Desktop MBTX, D945PAW to be exact so you can add it tto the 'bad' list
