Lite-on 74850c Problem please help

Hi, I have a 74850c lite-on drive which was modded by some other modder to ixtreme 1.51 but now i wana mod it to ixtreme Lt but the drive wont detect. I have nvidia chipset with port 0x0970(I have used this port for successfully modding other drives).

Now what exactly is happening here is that when the xbox 360 sata cable is connected to the drive and i turn on the console i can hear the reading sound and it reads the backups but when i open the sata and plug it into the pc sata then i cannot hear any reading sound and the drive tray wont eject. I am doing this on 360 power supply and I dont have the dummy.bin also. the drive acts as if there is no power in it.

So guys can you tell me what exactly is wrong in here....??

Try it in your other sata port. I have 2 ports and when I had this happen I couldnt figure it out. Well I wasnt getting the problems your having like it not powering on and stuff. Also I think you need the CK3 and probe for the Liteon drives.

I ordered one the other week from CK3.co.uk, the lite version super bundle for 30 quid. Did my first Liteon last week, Same drive as you have using Iprep. All went very well, worked first time. I flashed it to iextreme 1.61 not the new LT FW.

But No Jungle Flasher or Iprep wont read a liteon 7 series without the probe. Theres no point in just getting a probe either you may aswell get the full kit for like 30 quid. Saves a whole lot of hassle and you will never be stuck again no matter what drive you find yourself with.

Just a word of warning m8 flashing to LT on an already flashed machine is a sure invite to the Ban hammer,better using a virgin machine .

the only way to install LT safely in a already flashed machine is if it doesn't have NXE

Ive only just flashed mine for the first time last week to 1.61, But I made sure beforehand I performed all the system updates including Facebook, Zune etc etc. So I presumed I could flash to LT from here after doing the updates. I did the updates on stck and the console had never been touched before. Ive got Iprep 12 Beta and the LT FW but I just carnt be bothered to do it.
