I've done some searching online and know it's possible to take a Sammy dvd drive and either 'spoof' it to a BenQ and/or swap it for an entirely new BenQ drive.
I don't care what option I do as I do have a spare BenQ lying around the house... However I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to a GOOD step-by-step guide to replace my Sammy drive with a BenQ.
I want to do this because I have a unbanned box that I want to play online with, and LT isn't out for the Sammy.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Need Help: Swap Sammy to BenQ
Do this if your comp works with jungle flasher:
1. put sammy in vedor mode then dump the drive, make sure you have a good key, put the drive to one side.
2. put benq in vendor mode, open the sammy firmware as source firmware, open benq LT as target, click spoof source to target then save the firmware.
3. flash the benq like normal with the custom benq LT firmware you just made.
4. put the benq in the xbox that originaly have the sammy and give it a go

You may also just want to spoof the key, ive heard spoofing is more detectable, plus your xbox doesnt care what drive is in it, as long as the key matches.
