Using high verbosity mode with Agbx360 how can I find out what drive was used when the game was ripped? I know someone said this is possible but I don't know where to look. I know there are three different drives used when ripping games, the kreon, and the two microsoft ones. This leads to my second question. Once I find out which drive was used should I splitvid patch to the recommended version according to the drive? The kreon and first version of the microsoft supposedly used SSv1 while the later Microsoft drive used always used SSv2.
These are the different drives
- SSv1 ripped with Kreon
- SSv1 ripped with old 0800 FW
- SSv2 ripped with new 0800 FW (iXtreme 1.6)

Re: High verbosity mode on agbx360 and disc drives
I'm assuming you only want to know this because your scared about kreon's rips saftey online...
Kreons are the exact same as a 360 drive with 0800 or 1.6... The only difference is that the 360 drive measures the angles, and the kreon does not. So the kreon will give you ssv1, and the 360 drive will give you ssv2. SSv2 is safe for online, ssv1 is only safe if your game is wave 1, or 2, wave 3 and up need to be ssv2 to be safe.
You can rip with a kreon and patch to ssv2 its very easy, and if you do that, your rip is now the exact same as if you had ripped with a 360 drive.
