SH-D162D back up problems

ok just got one and xbc will not let me make a back up i try to click the unlock drive button and its not there i have checked that i have the right devise selected and still nothing the FW is upto date am lost :roll:

Is it flashed with the latest version of Kreon's firmware? Kreon v1.00 is the most recent version. Could also be a jumper setting issue. Do you have it set as master or slave? Set it to master or slave depending upon how your IDE channels are set up.

i have two dvd-rom drives one the SH-D162D the other my DL burner i hve the burner set as master and SH-.... set as slave i only have one IDE cable looks good from my end but i am new to this its flashed with SH-D162D_SB00_KREON_V100 from xbins

also just looked in my bios setting and it shows the SH-... as being the slave drive

Try extracting the ss.bin from your game disk and see if it will let you do that much. If it will, after the ss.bin is dumped, then you should be able to unlock the drive. If not, turn logging on and see what the log file says.

ok well its working now all i did was D/L another XBC and it's working fine thanks for help :lol:
