problem Direct Drive Dump (GDR Only)

i all im trying to flash my Hitachi v78 drive i get to were its says Open 360 Firmware Toolbox Tools > Direct Drive Dump . Choose your DVD drive from the drop-down list (there should only be one) Click the button labeled "RAW Dump Firmware As ..." put movie in or game and when i go to Dump it says s cant read the drive but i can see in in my compter it trys to read the drive and gives me 8kb file thats it.......thanks for any help on this one..........

it sounds like the the dvd drive is not in modeb.

but i can still see it it in windows and 360FW-Toolbox-46

i think you can get it to mount but if its not in modeb you will not be able to get in the drive

how do i get it into modeb ive got a via6421 raid card but i think i need to update the drivers .......

you have to use the slax cd.

burn it on a cd with img burn

yes i have the slax cd but it still want read the drive i must be doing something wrong lol
