you need to lay out just what you are doing and just when it is telling you that
if its telling you that when you are making the usb flash it should be fine
if your computer dont have a floppy go into the bios and disable the floppy drive.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
Ok I create the usb boot just fine, I use the intel chipset as the sata info (only that I go the scsi and select the ata intel chipset). I turn on my pc with the 360 off. I boot from the USB and enter Y. The I enter dben ******* *****, my 360 serial number. I enter y again with the 360 off. Then I enter Y again and it starts 0x** with random characters changing, and when I power the 360 I get the internal stack error. I have tried with turning the pc and 360 on at the same time and with the pc on and the 360 off, and still get the error. What can I do? I dont think that im doing nothing wring because I connect the 360 to the motherboard and when I turn on the 360 is when i get the error and I dont have a floppy drive. What can be wrong? How can I fix the stack error

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
I may need your help on this one, I've googling around on the whole Internal Stack Oveflow issue and on a couple of pages the've talk about changing the config.sys file, the one it tell me to change when I try to do anything to the drive. I need you help man, could you please go to the pc you use to flash the benq drive and go to the Run and type "edit c:\config.sys" and please tell me if the file that appears is in blank or if it is written. If the file is in blank I may only have to put in default the BIOS if it is written could you tell me what is written because those are the settings I have to put to make the flashing work. In my case my file is in blank so that is why I have this curiosity.
Any help is indefinitely appreciated. Thanks -Angelus

There actually is no config.sys file, or at least there shouldn't be, in this case anyway. At what point do you get the stack overflow message? Are you able to try a boot floppy if it came down to it?
EDIT:
If your in dos and you type in EDIT:XXX.zzz and the file doesn't exist or is blank, the edit program will still appear to open a file named that, but it's expecting you to add the content to the file and save it, thereby creating the file that you requested to be edited.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
I would first suggest getting a sata card with the VIA 6421 chipset. Try and get away from that intel sata chipset if at all possible.
Also, when you create the USB boot drive, make sure that your selecting the correct device for your sata. If you can, take a screen shot of the choices that you have and post it to where we can see it so we can make sure that you have the right I/O address selected for your sata.

Re: Mission Improbable with the Ben Q and iPrep
Make sure to re-read my last post, I added some more information.
If you have an incompatible sata chipset, or if you have selected the incorrect I/O address for your sata chipset, then it's possible to get this error message or some others that come to mind.
