as for going on-line with a modded machine, well its a chance you take mainly down to the quality of you rips (ie make sure mulleter likes it) but it is a risk & your own choice!!!!

No idea as yet what the next dash update will have instore for modded consoles, but if they get banned well tough luck is my opinion as EVERYONE was advised its a chance they take.

The games that are locked cannot be played in other regions, but most are region free so its not a big issue i get my imports from http://www.playasia.com

and yeah sorry about all the writing, I didn’t realise I wrote that much until I wrote it , and I like to give detail because you sometimes get people moaning that’s there’s not enough .

im thinking of just getting a core system for £100 so i can go online, just to be safe.
But before that I will just unplug my xbox from live, like you said we have no idea of what m$ have in store.

to back up my games but I remember about six months ago when I was last looking into this that you needed to stealth patch every game and make sure you do an ss check before burning the iso, I found this viewtopic.php?f=110&t=415" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which tells me how to check it, which is great but how do I stealth patch? whats stealth patching and ss check do? if I follow the tutorials what else do I need to do to get a good back up?

use in conjunction with XDVD mulleter to validate the image
