UK police recovered a lorry containing £600,000 of stolen PS3 games, only for the stash to be robbed again just hours later.
According to The Sun, thieves originally stole seven pallets of PS3 titles, including 16,000 copies of Ubisoft’s Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway.
Police recovered the haul from a Renault lorry in Leeds, but the games were then stolen again after criminals broke into the cops’ depot in Northampton.
“We are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry, including eBay transactions where a number of the games have been potentially identified as being advertised for sale. Arrests have already been made in respect of this,” said a police spokesman.
Ubisoft commented, “Fans needn’t worry as more stock is being parachuted in.”
