Flashed BenQ w/REAL Game on LIVE
hi all i just wanted to know if i go on live with my flashed benq and use a REAL game (bought at bestbuy) do i run risk of getting banned?
Re: Flashed BenQ w/REAL Game on LIVE
yes
if you have a modded console there is always a chance of being banned.
most of us believe a console gets banned because of bad backup games.
the last 360 that i know to get banned had not been on live for months and there was not a game of any kind in the drive when it was turned on.
as soon as it hooked up to live it was banned.

I remember CRC challenges on a website (xbins.org I think) in a log, which means they are testing the disks out rather than the firmware. With an original yul should be fine, but as Cofree says, there's no guarantee...

And if at first you don't succeed..? Order the damn card!

Mirc is a place to chat, post up on the site for help!!!

Most likely, but make sure the warranty seal is looking good. As long as it looks like nothing has been messed with then you should be ok. Maybe the other guys will have some input soon.

If your console gets banned and you send it back to MS, they won't touch it. They do check to see if the console is banned or not prior to repairs. I've heard of people offering to pay to have their console repaired and Microsoft turning them down because the console was banned.
But if your console RROD's and its not banned, they should repair it with no problems once you send it out with the original FW and the warranty sticker intact.
