no not like the old xbox.after the fall update then you will be able to play a game from the HD on the 360 but the game disc will have to be in the dvd drive even though it will be playing from the HD.beetle wrote:is it possible to play my ripped games through a hard drive?

I read a post about this on another forum...
From what i can tell, the verification will be done by an XEX on the disc, which cannot be created by anyone (because they're signed with M$'s private key), so it will be pretty difficult to do much without a disc in... I hope I read into it wrong though
