Reports started coming in yesterday on various forums that consoles were yet again being banned. I've read lots of claims that say they have been banned from x-scene to xbox.com. A lot are reporting that they are banned and claims have never modded their console. I take that with a grain of salt, but you never know for sure. C4EVA has reported that the queries to the drive have not changed and suspects yet again, bad rips or scene releases.
With that in mind, tell us your current Xbox Live Status? Can you connect to XBL? If you can't connect, run a network test and see if it fails at the Xbox Live part. If it does, check the status codes and see if it looks like this:
W:0000-000B
X:0000-F001
Y-00A8-6820
Z-8015-190D
The Z code is what your looking for. Report back and let us know either way. Please try and confine this thread to whether or not your banned. If you are banned, some system info would be good. What type of DVD drive, version of ixtreme/xtreme firmware, whether you played early releases, scene releases, etc. You don't need to list the name of the game or the scene release name if you did download it, just if you played an early release or scene release will be enough. This will be the only thread on this forum that it will be acceptable to say that you played such a game for the sake of gathering the information. Anything more than that, your post will either be edited, or possibly deleted.
Personally, I have not been banned, I have two consoles, one with a samsung ms-28, the other with a hitachi 78. Neither have seen early releases or scene releases. Only games that I own and ripped myself.
