NEED HELP with flashing lite-on

Hey All,

I think I did it this time. I was trying to flash the drive. I was in CK3 Tool and at the beggining it was great it saw my drive, I dropped my firmware into key, identity, ect... Now I went to Jungl and deleted I believ the firmware on drive. Then it froze. Now I try to connect drive so that it can be sensd and NOTHING it says that sata port is empty. I have the CK3 I just bought yesterday. I cannot even EJECT the drive!! from CK3. I dont know what to do. I dont know if the firmware I dumped is even good. I AM SO UPSET, FUSTRATED , and about to give up. I need some help. Any help. As always ANYTHINg is appreciated!

I did some further other things. I got the firmware to create a dummy.bin. It looks good. And looks like drive key is valid. Good, right. BUT now my issue is that I use DosFlash 32 and when I tell it to write it, I select the newly hacked firmware and all it says is Erasing... and stays like that... No clearing of banks or anything...I am stuck once again!!! I really need help guys!

if so you should be fine it will just take some time to go into how to fix it.

it will not eject because there is no firmware on the dvd drive
that is fine.
you will have to flash in with dos
no big deal.

You need to do the DOS method of flashing it. From what I understand, it works in DOS when it won't in windows.

I know its the holiday. Thanks for the help. At this moment I have gotten a dummy.bin created. I have also created a hacked fw frin the ix1.5. The issue currently is that The drive is not detected in CK3. I have all the firmware and it is backed up. When I tried to do it via DOsFlash 32 I get an error stating that "Status FFFF". I will wait until you can get me some help. Just to recap...

-Have Firmware
-Have created dummy.bin and is backed up
-Have created hacked firmware via dos
-Issue lies in actually erasing(where it just hangs)/writing to the drive, via CK3 it says drive in invalid state and in dosflash it says status FFFF

Will be waiting for the proverbial rope-line while I am steadily siinking in the ocean of my ignorance.

EDIT: last bullet point should say that via jungle not CK3

Use the DOS method of erasing and flashing. The ix.txt file has a link to the instructions. The ix.txt file was included with the ixtreme 1.5 download.

I have been trying with no results. This is what I get when I trry to run L-O-Eras and the DosFlash. Any Ideas?

Hey All,

Cofree, you have done it man. That was a great tutorial as alway!. Got it the first time. I am not too slow at this modding think but I was lost. Tahn You. One quick question and its about the xbox. I put the drive in the abox when it was not flashed correctly. The xbox gave me a message that there is a hardware failure. obviously due to the drive not being recognized. the question is, that mistake wont get me banned right? I was not connected to live or anything. I dont think it will since it was just a system message but in case you know. THANKS FOR EVERYTHINg.

to tell you the truth
i dont know about the banning thing
i would say no it wont
but
we just dont know what the console logs and how M$ will/may use that log information.

I would tell you to keep a eye on it and if it does get banned if the near future
that could be some useful information you have there.

i think you should be fine.
ive done about everything you can do.
from the whole wrong dvd drive put in a console
and
its still not banned.
so you should be fine.
