Lite On Soldering Question

Hi,

Im attempting to do my first Lite-On drive and I just want to clarify something. In order to flash the drive with the new Iprep 08.6, I need to Solder the points together on r707 and r708. I was going to just jump them with a wire soldered to each spot. Like this:

R707 X----wire----X
R708 x----wire----x

Sorry for the shady diagram but hopefully you see what I mean. Also, I read that I can leave them jumped after I read and flash the drive, is that correct?

all you have to solder is the 707tx point the flash is going to go in the sata cable. ;) :D

Ok, so jump a wire across the R707 points, not the R708.

Can I leave this wire on after the drive is flashed?
