Hey Guys I'm looking to flash my 360 today!!

I took the face plate off and looked into the little hole tingy, the wires are yellow. I also ejected the drive and the tray looked like a benq/phillips/lite on. I want to do the mod today and wanted some help from you guys. I have iprepv8.6, a flash drive, I have an onboard VIA chipset( I dont have a PCI SATA Card). I also have JungleFlasher.28 Beta but it doesn't load when i run as admin or double clicking the program. I tried running the PortIO32.exe first but just says device driver already exist.

I hope you guys could help me with the mod. I have the ixtreme 1.5 benq fw, ixtreme 1.5 lite on fw and the ixtreme 1.5 phillips fw. I know, I only need one. Could anyone help pls? My VIA chipset is PT880 Pro/Ultra on the Northbridge and VT8237A on the Southbridge.

The motherboard shouldn't be a problem, I've done some flashing on one of those chipsets without any problems...

If you have a lite on, I think most here would recommend you pick a CK3 (lite or pro) with a probe... This makes the job a whole lot easier.

Thx for responding. I'm not quite sure what CK3 is...?? I got the Lite on fw from xbins, where do I begin? I have SATA cables Jungleflasher, iprep, dosflash, i have all the firmwares.

to make sure exactly what drive you have you will have to open it up fully and you will have to read the label. after that tell us what drive it si and we will help you out,

Sry for the long wait in reply. I was opening the case, i took the shell off however, i'm having difficulty with taking out the screws, i took out some but the torx that i have only seem to do those and no more. I looking in my bro tbox to see if they are any the wrks. Sry for the wait.

You only need to take 6 long ones out, you can get all of theses with a T10 bit

Ok guys I got it opened and it says Phillips and Liteon digital solution. I think its a Liteon, whats my next step?

Ok, I watched it but I'm not so much of a soldiering person and i would prefer not to opening the dvd drive. Also, i dnt have a connectivity kit wat i'll do is to use the console to power the drive.

I saw a tut on youtube that allows someone to use jungle flasher and mod the 360. If any knows how to step by step use the program could u pls help? I'm not quite sure if i need anything else apart from the SATA cable, jungle flasher or iprep version8, onboard VIA, flash drive and liteon 1.5 fw. Is there?

The first step is to get the key off the drive , which means you will have to open the dvd drive , then your best bet is to purchase the ck3 lite or pro kit and probe.

where can i purchase that? Also ur saying that in order for me to flash my drive successfully i can't just connect the liteon drive to my via chipset and use a program such as jungle flasher or iprep v8?

as far as i know you would need those two kits in order to successfully flash your drive
