Another good program for showing your system hardware is Lavalys Everest. Anyways m8, I'm not sure if your SATA ports will be compatible for flashing 360s but can't hurt to try.

First things first; Which 360 drive do you have? You need to open her up (tutorial is on this site) and look at the sticker on top of the dvd drive. If you have a Samsung, Hitachi, or BenQ VAD6038 you will not need to purchase a connectivity kit and can use your XBOX360 to power on the drive. If you have a Lite-On (LG-16D2S) then you will need to buy the CK3 Pro or Lite depending on if you want the added feature of a USB connection.

You will need to download iPrep 008.8 from the Downloads section and also have a USB drive handy. There are plenty of tutorials here on the site that show you how to use iPrep and make your USB stick ready for flashing. Along with iPrep, you will need the latest iXtreme 1.5 firmware which you can get through Auto X-Bins or by joining #xbins on Efnet with mIRC (or does the newest iPrep come with the 1.5 firmwares?)

Once your USB stick is ready you can boot to your USB stick and dump/flash your drive (which again there are Video tutorials on this site thanks to CoFree). In the end if your SATA ports are not compatible you will need to buy a PCI sata card, VIA 6421 chipset. That's it in a nutshell.

I would add

that i would tell you to get the connectivity kit to power the console.
Most of us dont tghink its a good idea to power the dvd drive with the console.
but it will work

you have to get the ixtreme firmware v1.5 from x-bins.
you can find the auto x-bin here.

if you try with your onbo
you need to only try a dump of your firmware.
until you are 100% that you have all the file /key you need DO NOT FLASH.

if you have to get a pci sata card this is one that is known to work
