My xbox360 Flash Fail. PlZ Help.

So I flashed my Xbox 360 & this is what happens.

When I insert my disc it says "Reading" for about a minute then it says "open tray"

Please help. My xbox has been taken apart for two weeks now. I cannot figure out what is wrong.

I used:

1) Phillips - BenQ

2) iPrep v008 / iXtreme 1.5

3) Verbatim disc (burnt @ 2.4x) I'm 100% sure I burnt the "back up games" right.

did you get a read of that dvd drive
did you see firmtool run and build your hacked firmware.
you posted that in the samsung flashing so here have a look
in your video all i see is you going right to the flash.
you should have done it just like this video.

if you flashed it with out have a copy of you key
you have bricked your dvd drive
it will only play dvd movies now

First of all: Yes you can use your 360's power to flash the drive, should you, probably not as it pays to have some form of a serial adapter like the Ck3 or Max. If there's one thing I've learned about all this is that it doesn't require a lot of money to make backups or flash a drive but it certainly helps to spend a little on the right tools.

Here are the files I have saved on my computer. Which one has the "key" ?

if you go to xbins and go firmware > firmware tools > firmware toolbox > FW toolbox v4.8 download it, open up your BENOFW.BIN from your backups folder, copy key and obviously the whole BENOFW.BIN firmware to many places, I use a CD too.

The key is what enables the console and drive to communicate to play games.

I finally got it to play a game. The only issue is I did not burn the game. My buddy sent it to me in the mail. (of course he sent me the worst game he had) So it must be my burning process which I know I did everything right.

Thats spot-on Matt, if you're having any problems with playing your own backups it will probably be due to using cheap media. Its a bit of trial and error to find the discs you're 360 likes but i'd Invest in Verbatim discs (try and get Made in Singapore ones) as they're the most compatible with all the 360 drives. Ps good job on the flash.
