In the info box on the read tab does it say Found ODD:TSST DVD-ROM SH-D163B SB01 at [K] Additional Info: KREON V1.00? (may also say v8.1 or v8) If it does try giving schtrom V4 a go and see if you still have the same problem (i prefer schtrom anyway)

This kind of looks like a bad flash to me of the Kreon FW. I would try to re-flash the drive. Before that though have you tried other games?
