Any idea what games wont play that have the extra files in the video partition? does this include original games?

yes

any game with the 3rd wave
will not play on a ixtreme stealth firmware.

there are 2 that i know of right now.

but its my understanding that most new releases will have the 3rd wave because the "nxe" is now on the disc.

ah i see. cool im guessing this is just a security aspect of the ixtreame (im guessing that m$ would be able to detect copied games easer this way)

all this 3rd wave is
M$ is including the NXE on the new games and you have to take the update to play the game.
M$ is just making sure that everyone has to take the NXE update.
so when the dvd drive ixtreme saw that the video part of the iso was bigger it would not boot it.
That is just the built in safety that ixtreme has in it.

I wonder how difficult it would be to put a update blocker in the firmware. They already have that capability for the modded Wii's, and yeah, I know that the two systems are different, but the end process is the same. Anyway, it's just a thought.

just a small app that you run your iso through and it rips that crap out.

I think i have a console or 2 that i have not took the update on.
i think i will make sure that i dont just for testing if that ever does come out.
