Bricked BenQ?

Post by RyanGSXR »

I was flashing my BenQ with jungleflasher 1.5, when my cpu froze in the middle of an erase.
Now all it does is blink the led rapidly and wont open...... :o I thought I saw a post on this but I can't
seem to find it. Any ideas?

TIA Ryan

When you were trying to flash did u backup the Original Firmware? And when you were flashing what FW was it. When you unlocked it to get it into vendor mode, did u use benq unlock or Intro/ Device ID ?

Well cpu froze in middle of flash using Jungleflasher 1.5. Ive flashed this drive many times.
All it would do was flash rapidly and not open. I used the irep 008 boot drive to get back into it. At first that wasnt working.
After further inspection I realized i didnt have the Sata cable plugged back in. RyanGSXR <-----------RETARD!!!

Don't beat yourself up too bad, we've all made dumb mistakes exactly like that. But at least you were able to un-brick your drive. :D :D :D

Oh for sure. For those who may come across this while searching:

Just reflash using iprep 008 as normal. If that doesn't work, well.... make sure the sata cable is plugged in. lol

No seriously, try it a couple times if it doesnt. It will fix the BenQ drive eventually. ;)

Here ya go..........
