iPrep 8.8 first time run questions

running iPrep 8.8 for first time, what do i do?

Download ixtreme 1.51 fw for Benq

Download 8.8, install, run?

Reason i ask, is I'm trying to load ixtreme 1.51 for Benq into the iPrep program, and I get error "no valid firmware loaded"

What could be happening, what step am i missing here.

I also noticed that in xBins there was a ixDef 1.51 file. Which i'm assuming is a definition update. Am i supposed to place that somewhere? If so, where?

Copy the .ixdef file into C:\Program Files\iPrep\Resources. It will overwrite the older one.

yea man, go here viewtopic.php?f=131&t=4198 and replace it with the one thats here. . .C:\program files\iprep\resources folder

after loading firmware,make sure via controller is selected,select target as flash drive,make bootable and click start,it will do it automatically and very quickly
