Problem flashing sam ms 28

Hi everyone i was going to flash a sammy ms 28 but i got to a part wher it asked if i want to spoof to ixtreme ms25 click yes or no? What do i need to do Im using iprep 8.8 and the ixtreme 1.51

open iprep load samsung ixtreme
prepare the USB
Dump the original 28 FW
let firmtool run and create hacked ixtreme firmware with key
flash in the new hacked firmware

The MS28 Drive and MS25 are same Hardware just different firmware revisions

So if you flash in the samsung ixtreme there is no spoof needed.

Ok so i went ahead and click yes i guess i should of clicked NO beacause when i went flash it ,it asked me what port # and mine is always 6 but the drive wasnt showning up. Maybe this was because i clicked Yes not sure. What should i do now

Are you using iPrep v8.8
if not get that from the download area

And sometimes the Samsung drives do'nt show up, just make sure you have it on the right port/disconnect other drives, and then flash it you should be ok

I have heard from people that the samsungs display little or no info next to the port #

Make sure to check if your key is good from the dump
no 77777 or 555555555555 or CCCCCCCCCCCC repeating things

Ok well have to that then ill unplug my other drives and try it that way. Yes I'm using iprep 8.8 also so then there's no need to spoof to ms25 I should just type N and enter and cont with the flash but like I said when I did it the first time it asked what port and I type 6 then enter and says somthing like nothing was found what should I do if this happens again or is it matbe because I had my other drives connected and that I also cliked Y to spoof

if that console had a v25 in it orig then
click yes to spoof
if that console has always been a v28 then there is not reason to spoof.

also, it doesn't normally ask you to spoof a 28 to a 25, its normally the other way around so thats strange at the same time. read the label on your drive to make sure.

Ok so i tried to flash it i got the dump but once again at the end of the dump it ask the same thing yes the drive is a ms28 but it keeps asking if i want to spoof hacked ixtreme fw to ms25. But this time instead of clicking yes i clicked No and it said success so i continue to go to flash and after typing in fsam ....... ..... then enter i get this

No ATAPI devicse Present

Well everyone i just decided to to back and use iprep 006 and it worked the very first time not sure whats up with iprep 8.8
