Erased My new benq drive without reading it first...

Well like the fool I am i've managed to erase my benq before reading it in dosflash. So as a consequence of erasing the benq immediately it ended up bricking the drive, and of coarse all functionality of drive have come to a complete halt. If anyone has any ideas on what to do I would be more than greatful. Last but not least I've forgot to mention that I booted into dosflash and tryed following the on screen prompts which eventually leads to an error message in which it states that BenOFW.Bin is missing. Funny thing is i've flashed numerous benq's and this is the first time like a cluts I am managed to brick a benq. Well I guess thats what happens when you try to flash a drive after having 3 wisdom teeth extracted and doped up on vicodin ...

keep the dvd drive as a spare.

what if I just go straight into flash would that work? Keep in mind the original firmware is gone but what if I write the hacked FW onto it you think that would work?

No it wont work. You must have the key to the drive. If you erase the benq before reading the frimware,
then you lost your key.

Is this from this actual drive or another one you've dumped ?

its from another drive

its from another drive

if it from a different dvd drive
that firmware will not work
well the key that is in that firmware will not work
you have to have the orig key that was in the orig dvd drive to get that console working again.
