flashing samsung dvd xbox 360

i need some help with this
yesterday i tried to flashed at my friends computer i dont what happen after i put the serial number then i put R to read
then says a error samcfw.bin not found something like that

i used iprep 8.8 need help im new on this

when preparing the usb did you load the sam ixtreme 1.51? cause that error means it cant find the firmware..

yeah i did load the firmware , but in the sata control it didnt show anythig like VIA something

his computer is a gateway n today im gonna try in anothers friend computer

can u do the iprep from another computer then use in another ?

Yes you can, the only thing you'll have to be on the lookout for is the connection port. You must make sure that the drive is connected and powered on before the pc to ensure that you send the commands through the correct port.

we did that for reason i dont know it didnt recognize it, my friend look on bios to see the sata ports it didnt a ppear there

well it can be hard to get iprep to build a flash on one pc and then boot on a different pc and flash
you need to do it all on the same pc.iprep gets the main port id and builds on that

says a error samcfw.bin not found

that would mean that firmtool did not run and build your hacked firmware for some reason

does the pc you are using have any sata drives hooked up (sata HD or sata dvd/cd )
firmtool will not run and build your hacked firmware if you have
if so they must be unplugged before you boot on the usb flash

yeah they have hd / dvd ports but i disconnected before i tried i connect the xbox 360 dvd to the sata that was conected to hd
