Where to find out if the ban hammer has been applied?

Hey guys,

Where does everyone find out about when the ban hammer has been sent out? i personally look at this fourm and a few others. But cofree where do you find out? i know that xbins has a log of all the updates, but i cant make heads or tails of it.

well some times xbox will release a statment saying that they are going to or have started a ban wave
but
most of the time we dont know till people start say they have been banned.

then c4eva keeps a running log of the in/out on a 360 and he may see that new data is being sent/received from M$
and see a ban wave coming.

but
like the last ban wave
it was nothing but a bad iso that got put up on p2p and everyone that played it got banned.

well i did a bit of snooping around the net, and i couldnt find any source that had a page or post dedicated to ban waves. I think it goes without saying that yourself and many others in this community are one of the first people to knw when a ban wave happens, so rather then just posting it on the homepage and people having to regularly check to see if a ban has happened. I thought it would be a good idea if you created a post and locked it for only admins to post. We could then create an RSS feed off that page and then all your users could subscribe to this feed. They arent hard to make.
