Has anyone bought one or done it themselves and had decent results?
I see a lot of how-tos but I've also seen stuff like the super cantenna for $35.00
Which is ok, if it works...

We did a test in one of my college labs and we went over 300ft with one and didn't dip below 80% signal. The only problem is going to be that its only going to work really well if you are in line with it. Probably just not practical for everyday use.

Cool, that's what I've read too, thanks. Maybe I'll look into an Omni-directional antenna.
