You can't. It requires a drive with specific hardware. Namely the family of samsung drives starting with the sh-d162c. There are only a handful of models with this capability, a quick google search will get you all the models that are capable and about the only place to find them is on ebay. And these are only DVD ROM drives, meaning they will only read the disks, not write them.

You can actually buy them already flashed with Kreon FW. Not sure where you're from but here's a link to a UK site http://tinyurl.com/SH-D162C.

As far as I know drives with kreon FW in them sell for much more than the stock drive. Which makes it not worth it. (Even if kreon drives sold for 3 dollars more, its not worth it)

Flashing kreon is as simple as going to xbins, downloading the FW specific to your drive, opening the executable that comes with the FW, and clicking a couple buttons.

I love my kreon drive, probably one of the best things I have ever bought :P

@ Thread Starter:
As sadalius said there are only a handful of drives capable of reading xbox games. Therefore you would need to order parts specifically for the sammy drives. So building one is a waste of time.

My appologies, it was meant to be tongue in the cheek.
