i was thinking the other night, shouldn't it b possible to just use firmware toolbox 4.8 to spoof the ms28 (samsung) by the following methods: using sadalius & cofree's tutorials on both flashing hit drives & spoofing then later use iprep 1.9 to flash the spoofed firmware to the samsung drive? i know it my be a bit longer but @ least it's guaranteed to work w/o having to use the activate.iso disk to put the drive in vendor mode. Additionally the old tutorial that cofree did on hit drives would in fact be able to dump the 1.4, restore to stock then be able to flash the 1.5 ( i don't see why it wouldn't) then @ that point you would just rename the file double check it in fw toolbox to see if it's valid & if so then just use std procedure for iprep 1.9 & it should be good to go. what do you guys think? makes it easier than having to use the workaround as well as freezing up issues as it's much more stable. just a thought.
