im from UK i want an xbox 360 cheap ...
if i buy it brand new with waranty and do the hairdryer trick . is it worth paying £30 so its brand new with waranty ? (its around 50-60$ )
or should i just grab a used one off ebay ?
im confused.
Also ive heard that if its 175W then it has less chance of getting an RROD . is that true ? if yes then which is the exact number of W that i should get ? as im not sure its 175W.
Last question : Do i need CK3 and probe for flashing all drives ? or is it only needed for liteons ?. Which drive is easiest to flash ?
Which Xbox SHould i buy ??
Re: Which Xbox SHould i buy ??
The 360 console if touch and go at best.
there is no way i would get a used one on ebay
If need be just save another week or two and buy a new one.

i want to mod it.. / flash it , if u mean like changing the case like puting a window in it then no i dont want to mod it. i just want to flash it so it plays copy games. and thats why im asking because if it avoids me waranty then not much point buying new . but yeh i guess il buy a new one and be careful how i flash it so microsoft wont notice if i send it back with an RROD

Hey mate
There is not much chance of MS not realising that you've sent them an Xbox that has been opened
To flash the drive, you have to open the case whih means tampering with the seal which will void your warranty
Unless you are extremely good at getting MS seals off and then back on without them knowing that is
There are actually some really good, clean, well looked after 2nd hand Xbox's on Ebay but you have to be careful what you buy
I have had a few good ones, one of which I flashed and have kept just to play my backups
Ask questions before bidding and ideally buy one that has an easy fix and that has never been opened before
There are quite a few like that
If you don't want to flash it then deffo by new and I believe the new Arcade models with the Jasper chipsets are supposed to be the best ones

M$ lets alot of opened xbox's slide. If you can get your sticker back on in one piece and it looks good M$ will probably accept it.
Dont buy from ebay 99% of the time the box is crap. They will be physically damaged, and/or will have bad keys & hardware problems. The only time you can get a good xbox off ebay is by buying ones that are in box, they will be close to paying retail after shipping...
If you already have a hard drive, just buy an arcade. HDMI is not really needed, I have an HDMI box on my 42" 1080p TV, and I cant see a difference between HDMI, and HD AV cables.
