when you was setting i prep up did you select the correct sata controller ie your 6421 card or is it looking for the on board sata ports. that mite be the reason it wont find it? the attached picture shows you which sata controller to have

You wont need all the firmware files loaded in i just have it like that saves keep changing usb drive.

the target device wont show you lite-on drive. change that to your usb drive. you should not have your 360 connected up yet any way. Only connect your drive when you get to the c:\ prompt in iprep. obviously connect your ck3 kit up and leave it turned off and leave the sata cable out.

Follow this step by step do exactly what it shows it will work.

Have you tried Jungle Flasher, with an serial cable? I have found that it was super easy to flash the Lite-on this way.

If you haven't, check this out: viewtopic.php?f=195&t=3357" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sadalius did a great job with this video.

First, I think you should stick with iPrep. Second make sure that your drive is powered on before you boot to your usb flash drive. This will keep dos from having any interrupt errors while you turn on your drive. The reason JF is freezing is becuase the VIA card drivers are installed you must disable them by renaming the file viamraid.sys to viamraid.bak. This file can also be called vsmraid.sys Also when using iPrep make sure that you've ejected the drive, powered down, push tray half-way maybe a little more, then re-power the drive. Now boot to your flash drive. And then just follow the steps on the screen, remember read everything twice and take action once. The most important thing to do is to get a good copy of your drive key. As long as you have that, no matter what you do to the drive you can save your console.
