Hi everyone,
I got this Xbox 360 which had the 3 red lights. M$ repaired it and sent me a new box with lite on inside. So, I'm using to CK3 w/probe to dump the key. This is not the 1st Lite-ON i've done (I've done many in the past successfully), so I'm pretty sure I'm doing things correctly per tutorials, etc. Anyways, I ran the "dlit serial" command, the dump goes fine but then when firmtool runs it comes up with a Warning message in red letters saying that "it appears that the key is missing some information" . I did it like 4 times and still the same message, so i aborted flashing. Weird thing is that the Xbox is reading original games without problems. Obviously I'm affraid to run flit 'cause I'll end up with the e65.
Just to discard a possible hardware malfunction, I flashed a Benq with the same hardware configuration and it went flawlessly.
I wonder if the drive is spoofed, but the wierd thing is that the XBox was repaired by M$ and they replaced the drive as well.
any thoughts guys?
thanx
Lite On incomplete dump
Re: Lite On incomplete dump
If you can, dump it with jungleflasher. That will tell you if the firmware is spoofed or not. More than likely, it's not giving you the serial information. If it gave you a dummy.bin file, open that with jungleflasher as the source and it will tell you everything you need to know about it. Whats missing, whether it's spoofed, etc.

Re: Lite On incomplete dump
OK, I re-dumped the key with JF and when saving the dummy file it appeared a similar message as it did on iprep, basically saying some info is missing. ANyway, I loaded up the dummy on JF and this is what it shows:
the error message reads as follows "the dummy bin is missing some drive specific information, try to dump the key again with DVDk32, etc...do you want to proceed anyway?"
I really don't see if it's spoofed or not. Everything seems to match the lite-on but for some reason the dummy reports missing info. Any help please!
THis is the dump log (I edited the actual keys), but assume they all have unique random combination and were the same numbers/letters all 6 times
Sending DVDKey request to I/O port 0x9000 and COM1

It's not spoofed. Here's a good link to re-building your serial info on the lite-ons.
