Backup game to Xbox hdd??

Sup guys,ok I was telling my friend bout how u can mod the 360 to play backups so then he starts telling me why put them on a DVD when u can just dump the game to the hdd now I've never heard of being able to do this without still actually putting the original just so the game loads faster so my question is, is it possible dump a game n just play it off ur hdd I know the answer is prolly no but I just want to prove it to him just to shut him up

no, still have to put the disc in

Yeah, you can dump the games to the hdd, but you still have to put the disk in to verify that you own the game. It works with backups or originals. You can only do this if the 360 has been updated to the NXE dashboard though.

ok thanks guys just wanted to make sure i was right before i strted rubbing it in his face...he installs stystems and tvs in cars and swears he knows everything about every electronic out thanks again
