possible bad stealth file from mulleter server?

Post by supercooper »

Using
ixtreme firmware v1.4 (12X)
memorex DVD+R DL burner
verbatim DVD +R DL media (singapore)
wxRipper
mulleter v10.1 also tried v10.2
burn speed 2.4x
rip speed unknown
samsung ms28 drive in xbox

Im getting an "unreadable disk" error in xbox360 console with Halo 3 only, having success with other backups following the same exact procedure from your tutorial on using wxripper, mulleter, and imgburn

after I perform "auto fix" with mulleter I see on screen that "ixtreme compatible" is not "ticked" with the "solid green box" for doing a back up for Halo 3, but when I do a re-check in both mulleter v10.1 and XBC v2.7 the "ixtreme compatible" now shows a "check mark" but in XBC the ISO shows "all okay" except for the "split vid" has a question mark

so I go with a "split vid" and if so I does one go about it?

why is Halo 3 giving me problems? I also tweaked my laser beam pot to read around 3.8K ohms
If I was to suspect a bad "ss" file from mulletor server should I go to another source and do a "manual insert" stealth file?

i would do the dump again
if others are working then it must be the dump.

Cofree, I don't think there is a dump involved or there would be a rip speed posted in his post.

yes there was a dump involved and I have never payed attention to the rip speed because its not mentioned in the cofree tutorial? please advise what rip speed and where to find it on wxripper? I have just paid attention to a 2.4x burn speed. I will post a screen shot of what mulleter shows me right after a "auto fix" but once again I have been successful with two back ups thus far, Im having problems with Halo 3 being unreadable.
thanks in advance

so if I wanted to adjust rip speed where do you find it on wxripper? also where do you find the "split vid" option?

I read cofree "wxripper" tutorial high and low and no mention of these adjustment? must be found in another program??

no in the hot swap it does dump kind of fast.
i dont think there is a way to slow it down.thats one of the reasons i dont like backing up that way

Sorry Supercooper, I guess I assumed something that I shouldn't have. I assumed you were using xbc and kreon to do your dumps.

yes my original post shows all the software I was using, here is a screen shot of what I have been trying to explain, as soon as I do a "auto fix" in mulleter I get what you see on the top screen shot, you see that "iextreme capability" is not ticked like the other two such as "Video Data present" and "PFI present", do you see how they have a green square ticked but not "ixtreme compatible"? okay so now I close everything and do a stealth check on the ISO and as you see on the second screen shot that "ixtreme compatible" is now showing a checkmark! only HAlo 3 is doing this to me, looks like I just need to sH*tcan hotswapping and go to kreon and XBC....right? or should I try another program like merger? IS merger old school? waht are you comments on "merger" software??

ss merger has long since been retired. Mulleter can do it's job plus lots more.

I would go with the kreon drive and XBCr combo. It'll make your life so much easier.
