Hei guys I have been looking at some of the infectus products. But there is a question that they wont answer me.

Does their chip unban u from xbox live??

If it does. does it need to stay on your xbox or do u just change the serial and then u take it off??


Does anybody out there know the answers??

the only way that chip will wprk is if you have a exploitable kernel in your console
even then i have not read about it getting you unbanned
but
yea it was said you can change your mobo number and as long as the new ser number you us is not banned then
it would get back on live but what you have done is turn it into a different console at that point

the thing is the stuff you are talking about is more work(if your console can even be done) than its worth
i mean damn a new console is 199 usb
after that just dont mess around with backups you do not dump yourself

The chip itself will not unban you from xbox live. If you've got everything you need, a vulnerable xbox 360, an infectus, all the software, a new console ID, you can use the chip to get unbanned, but what that entails is changing the console ID (which I'm not about to explain) to where it appears as a different console. Now that stands for a couple of things. First, if you get banned again, then some unsuspecting joe out there in the world who has that REAL console ID gets banned as well. Not worth the effort to get two people canned off live.
