Ok, first off all, do you have the oringinal firmware Inc Key ( this is very important)
if you do you will need to make the custom firmware for the samsung drive.
Explain what you have done so far then we will have some idea where your at?

Re: FLashing samsung compatible with mcp motherboards?
First off let me start by sayin how did you brick a BenQ if you have your Original FW its imposable unless you hook the power up wrong or something along those lines . Secondly with BenQ Samsung you don't need to erase in dos go straight to flashing after you get the original FW and your sure it looks good. LiteOn is the only one you erase first! I would try to go straight to flashing make sure if you need the samsung Original FW you save it. As long as your BenQ Original Fw is good the console is not bricked. Another thing are you using Dosflash command or Fsam ******* ***** ? Did you use JungleFlasher to make FW? What did you use to get the Original FW (Dosflash - Dben - Jungle Flasher)?

I have a working sata port I used it when I flashed my benq drive and it just wont work with my samsung. IT reads it but when it starts it freezes right when I start to flash the spoofed firmware.

Re: FLashing samsung compatible with mcp motherboards?
if you are using iprep you will need a via card sata port for the samsung drive
if it a different chipset
then use jungle flasher
if it a different chipset

Your spoofed firmware should be called samcfw.binxXwhygodwhyXx wrote:I can load the hacked frimware but I cant load my spoofed frimware to iprep I even rename it and still wont load.commando_lee wrote:follow this tutorial word for word and let us know what stage you get stuck on,xXwhygodwhyXx wrote:I have a working sata port I used it when I flashed my benq drive and it just wont work with my samsung. with that fw all you need to do is create a bootable usb device to make things easy just so it with the samsung 1.6 firmware. you will not be using this
then open the usb device inside that you will find a folder callled backups OPEN IT
create a folder inside that called 1234567 then open that and create another folder called 12345 then copy and paste your hacked firmware into that. would advise you change the numbers to your serial number.
Then load up your usb device into Iprep then at the c:\ prompt
FSAM 1234567 12345
then select w for write when it asks for name of firmware you will give samcfw.bin
