spoofed sammy ms25 as a hitachi now stays in vendor mode

well i spoofed the sammy as a hitachi 47 and everything went smoothly.i plug it into the xbox and now all it does is eject the tray. plug the drive into my computer again and now the drive doesnt eject all the time only when needed. i go into jungleflasher and the drive is already showing up. i get 3 cd drives instead of the normal 2 when it boots.

any help to set this into the right mode

connecting it to the computer but it will not read anything even tho it shows up (useing ck3 pro) connecting it to the computer useing the xbox power causes the drive to eject

and no i do not have to intro into the device to set the vendor mode.

alright well i think im going to try for a reflash useing iprep is there anyone who can tell me how to reflash using iprep flashing a spoofed samsung that apears to be a hitachi 47

ok this sucks flash succesfully to the sammy and it stayed spoofed. so thats a positive but it still giveing me the same problem... ejecting while useing the xbox's power... is it because im useing ix 1.6 for the sammy...

im lost atm could realy use the help

here what i know isnt the problem.

the drive isnt bricked
the drive isnt fried
nor the mobo
its not the sata or power cable

Does the firmware show up in JF as spoofed as the Hitachi? You could flash this with iPrep but I would stick with JF for the moment. But if you really want to flash with iPrep then build the cfw in JF with the Hitachi's key save to file as samcfw.bin and load that into iPrep. And flash the sammy with DOSFlash and not the autoexec that iPrep uses.

yes the firmware shows up in jf. but jungle flasher will not reflash the sammy i get an error. i ualready had it spoofed so what i did was just use iprep to build the spoofed hacked firmware but still it didnt work. is fsam the autoexec that your talking about. how do i use dosflash then?

alright well i relfashed once again this time useing ix 1.51 and still haveing the same problem the drive is constintly ejecting and staying in vendor mode...

i cant find anything that explains this ...

i think i figured out whats wrong .. thought that an udepressed mode b switch ment off but it had to be press down to be turned off. sence blue means off. now sence i klnow what happend how can i fix this..... if i can

well i tried flashing with blue light and still its not staying out of mode B. cant figure this out.

I'll look up the posts i have posted & paste them here to lead u to the corresponding thread to help u you out as i too was in the same situation but im using an ms28 instead (same difference though) all i can advise is the following:

make sure to use jungleflasher 1.62 & dl the jungleflasher pdf, it will help immensely with jungleflasher (hell, it made it Easier to use especially if you have a ck3 kit) as long as you get a good dump of the key from the spoofed drive (samsung) you can go directly to flashing with jf or my preference, iprep 9.

another thing to take note is are u using xp & the 6421 via sata card? if so, make sure you use the workaround & install port i/o otherwise it may not work for you.

i think i have bought a bad drive i just flashed the 0800 firmware on to the drive and the drive still will now read. no spin up at all. o well ill be getting a new drive shiped here within 2- 12 days.
