Right i have the latest JF which is 6.2 but in the firmware folder the text file inside says about ixtreme 1.51, but with ixtreme 1.6 released how can i change these to auto load 1.6 instead of 1.51?
Do i simply rename the firmware inside the text file so it matches the actual ixtreme 1.6 firmware,
Example: Change this: (this is the top row in the "place your firmware here" text file located in the firmware folder of JF)
DATE SIZE NAME MD5 CHECKSUM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
03/03/2009 262,144 ix151-benq.bin bf71509c6e50ea9d49db46399fd2b52d
To this so it matches the actual firmware name:
DATE SIZE NAME MD5 CHECKSUM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
03/03/2009 262,144 ix16-benq.bin bf71509c6e50ea9d49db46399fd2b52d

Re: Auto loading firmware in JF?
I don't think you can change JF to autoload the 1.51 firmware. It checksums the firmware that it's loading. I tried to do the renaming trick when 1.6 came out with a previous version of JF and it wouldn't autoload it because it failed the checksum check. I had to load it manually.
