360 live question
360 live question
am kinda into buying a membership for online play but want to know wha the % of games that can be played online wit tha new wave tha just came out....or is it safe to go online wit the new fw....
Re: 360 live question
The latest firmware is safe on xbox live, but that doesn't necessarily mean you won't get banned. When you make any type of modifications to your console you run the risk of getting banned. But as long as you make your own rips and check them properly you should be able to play online without incident. Also, if you aren't playing your games online you're really missing out on a large part of the game.

Re: 360 live question
ABGX is the program your thinking of for verifying.
Dumping an in hand original, and getting a good burn of it, is safe online. Keep in mind nothing is 100% safe (unless its an original) but your chances of getting banned are low if you take your time to do things right.

Re: 360 live question
Well you can always buy a long ass ethernet, and string it under baseboards (not very good if your console is above or below your router.)
I know if you have a laptop, you can connect your pc to your laptop, and use its wireless card to connect to your network and internet.
There are a few alternatives, most involve wireless bridges, google "Xbox live without wireless adapter" or something simmilar and see what you come up with. You will more that likely need to buy some kind of wireless receiver, and just place it next to your xbox, then bridge the 2.

Re: 360 live question
Place the disk in your kreon/0800 drive, and dump it to your computer, then check it with ABGX.
If your xbox is right beside your desktop, you can just plug an connect the 2 via ethernet cable, then go to network connections, and allow other devices to use your connection.
