Hey guys, while I was atempting to flash my first BenQ, sometimes it would never do the MTK/vendor mode error/resend jaunt. It would go straight down the list, and give some info on the drive, but keep going.
But it would then ask for the drive number, and after giving it, I could read/write/erase.
I don't know if this will happen again with my new drive, I'll let you guys know, but if it does, should I do it? Are there any repercussions with doing it this way?

Not at all just make sure you read first above all things to make sure you get your key. Without that key as I'm sure you know your xbox 360 is useless.
