used a new disc

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that since I flashed my 360 (again, thanks to everyone here that helped me out with it) I've been making back-ups of all of my games and the other day I ran out of verbatim so I decided to give this generic brand windata a try. Now these are $13 at my local MiroCenter fo a 20 pack. They've been great for making dvds, using them as additional storage, etc. They are only about 2/3 the thickness of the verbatim so i've never even considered them for the 360. Well I only had NCAA football 09 left to back-up I barely play it so I gave it a go with the windata since they're only about 65 cents and not 2 dollars. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I played around 10 games with it then installed it to the hdd and played a few more that way. I'm not going out on a limb and recommending these discs to use everyday but it seems that they will work. I will test them out on a few more games but I just wanted to let everyone know because I've read in a few places that people have trouble finding verbatim or they are too expensive to buy regularly. BTW my drive is a lite-on with ixtreme 1.6 and the burner I used was just a $20 pioneer I found at MicroCenter.

well im glad they work for you man.

the big thing is we "know" verbatim disc are good and as long as your iso is good and the burn is good then it wont be the disc

There are onther disc that people can get to play
i have used sony dl disc a few times with no trouble.

but
i have found this is a good place to get verbatim disc.
