Re: Messed up!
Well dos flash is really the only way to recover this...
What type of flash drive do you have? Do you know if your motherboard supports it? Are you just plugging in the usb drive, and restarting your computer?
9 times out of 10 your cd/dvd drives + HDD are higher in the boot sequence than any usb drive.
When your comp it starting up press F12 (or look on the screen to see what the button for the boot menu is) then once you hear your computer beeping, stop pressing it, and look at the deivces for usb or storage device or fat 32 or mass storage or something like that...

Re: Messed up!
unfortunately my pc is ancient. 1.2ghz single core! i only have it for flashing as i have a laptop now. there is no option for a boot menu but in the cmos setup utility the boot order options are;
floppy
LS120
HDD-0
SCSI
CDROM
HDD-1
HDD-2
HDD-3
ZIP100
USB-FDD
USB-ZIP
USB-CDROM
USB-HDD
LAN
Disabled
i have some old usb 1 slots that dont support my flash stick, i added the usb 2 more recently. I tried the xbox modification disc iso and can boot that, although it isn't much help in this situation. if i could boot iprep any other way i think it may work. I can't believe i messed this up after all the time i spent on it!

Re: Messed up!
Well good thing your at RHPG, we'll get this sorted for you
Can you select any of those to boot from? USB-HDD should be the ticket.
If that doesnt work, you can use a floppy disk, or burn your own cd to boot from
Give this a read through:
http://www.tiaowiki.com/w/Flash_XBOX_36 ... d_firmware" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You can choose w.e way you want to do it, I believe using a floppy is the slowest, but it will work.

Meh I didnt like Call of Juarez 2, kind of had a weird feeling to me. It felt kind of arcad-ish but somewhat realistic. I dont know, I didnt play too much of it

Re: Messed up!
It depends on the version of iPrep, i do believe the ladder versions of iprep only allow you to use rs232. The older ones allow both I think.
