Flashing a lite-on with a CK3 and probe.

I am going to flash my 360(lite-on) with a CK3 as soon as my CK3 comes in the mail. I bought the latest CK3 and I have the probe for it. I was just wondering if I decide to use Iprep to flash it, do I have to use a RS232 cable to flash my 360, or can I use the USB? Because I have a RS232 cable, but my computer doesn't have anywhere to plug the RS232 cable into. So I have to use the USB, so while using USB do I have to use Jungle Flasher or can I use iprep also. And I know my computer can flash a 360 because I've flashed 2 360's with it before(a MS25 and MS28).Thank you.

Which version of the CK3 did you buy? The pro has USB capabilities where as the lite doesnt. I use the CK3 pro with USB connection and Jungle flasher to flash all my lite-ons.

If you are going to use Iprep you will need a rs232 cable. as thats how you will get your key. If you have a ck3 pro that will have usb which you can dump your key via Jungle Flasher

I am using the CK3 pro, I guess I'll have to use Jungle Flasher, since I can't use a RS232 cable with my computer. Thanks a lot! And just out of curiosity, why can't I use a USB cable in Iprep but I can with Jungle Flasher?

I prep works on a dos command. not much works in does. where JF is in windows and your computer has booted.
