Samsung spoofed as Lite-On Upgrade

Hi everybody. This is my story(problem): I've bought a 360elite, and it camed with a Lite-On. That time I didn't know how to mod it myself so I went to a guy. He just put another dvd in my 360 and gave me my original Lite-On back. Now I realize that he gave me a Samsung/Toshiba and spoof it as a Lite-On(since in j/f it gets recognized as DG-16D2S). All is good, games are playing, no problem, but with the last wave3 patch it's a little tricky(so I need the last ix1.6).
Now that I've read a lot(realy a lot) and saw a lot of videos, I'm prety sure I can mod it myself. After a research and some questions I've found out that I can flash my Samsung using it's hacked f/w to be recognized as a Lite-On(since I don't have the key or dummy from lite-on; and don't afford to buy a ck3pro).
I've got some steps to how to do it, but I don't get it how to put it in vendor mode, since it's recognized as Lite-On. Should I use Sammy Unlock(I've tryed with Intro/Device Id but it failed). After I put it in vendor mode I would just read the f/w, use it as source, then put in target the hacked f/w, then spoof it to target, then write it?
If you can give me some detailed steps I would be realy greatful.

When you dump the FW from the drive, it will be ixtreme, and it will appear to be (spoofed as) a lite-on.

You can treat this as your OFW, and load ixtreme 1.6 then spoof it. In JF, dump the drive, and load the FW as ofw, then load ixtreme 1.6 as target. Click spoof source to target, and it will copy your key, and identification strings to your ixtreme FW.

So your ixtreme will now have the correct key & identify as a lite-on.

For iprep you will need to dump the drive, then boot into windows and open JF or toolbox then load your dumped FW as OFW, and ixtreme 1.6 as target FW. Then spoof. Then flash with iprep.

Dumping = read.

Think of a bucket of water, the bucket being your drive, and the water being the data (FW) when you begin dumping the water out, your moving the data from the drive to wherever. (Except you dont move the data, you copy it.)

My real problem is to put it in vendor mode. I've asked this question like ten times(not here) and still no answer. I don't know how to put it in vendor mode since it's spoofed as a Lite-On and it's recognized as a Lite-On. If you could answer me this question. Thanks.

Thx for all your support. I've just did it with simple Intro/Device then reset the console within 1sec. It worked!!! I've got it in vendor mode and patch it with ix1.6. It's working perfect now. I probe it with UFC and it's working.
