I'm having trouble finding the tutorials and information I need for flashing my xbox360 drive ms25, TS-H943.
I would like someone to refer me to specific links on exactly what tools i need, where can I get any resources for how to do the flashing as well as the materials required, such as the cheapest card I'll need to buy. I've looked all over the forums and only found some videos already starting on the flashing, but I've only gotten as far as taking my xbox360 apart. I have tried to get the original file out of my drive like most tutorials say, by using MTKFLASH.EXE, MTKFLASH.TYP, xtreme.BIN, xtrm0800.bin. While putting those on a ms-boot Flash drive. Whenever I turn off my computer. I turn on the xbox360, while having it's sata port plugged into my mobo, I then turn on my computer, and then nothing happens and leaves me at a black page with "_" flashing. I turn off xbox360 and restart computer and everything is back to normal.
I then assumed that I need a specific card on my pci port in order to connect the sata cable from the drive to my comp but I don't know if that is the reason or not. I also don't know any specific version that needs to be put on the flashed dvd-drive.

Any help will be extremely appreciated, sorry if I sound like a noob in this matter. I think putting custom firmwire on a psp was a lot easier, didn't think this would be too complicated.
