upgrading Samsung to 1.6

Tried to flash my samsung ms25. Using Iprep 8.8 updated the def.s loaded the hacked firmware. Go into dos type in the dsam..etc , it wants to hang a couple of times then I finally get to where it asks if you want to read or write. I type in r for read then I get a error saying unknown flashchip and samofw.bin not found. I never get the chance to tell it to search for samofw.bin. you type r then enter you get the same error every time.

sounds like you are putting the wrong number for the drive when asked or you have a faulty sata cable make sure its the right number mines 0 but yours could be 6 or some other

I know I'm putting in the right number because it finds the drive.
